When you register your A2P Brand with your Business Profile, LC Phone submits your business details to The Campaign Registry (TCR) for review. This process determines your eligibility and assigns a Trust Score, which sets your daily messaging capacity with U.S. carriers.
How Brand Approval Works
Initial Review – TCR verifies your business information.
Secondary Vetting – Stackably automatically submits your brand for deeper review, which can unlock higher messaging limits.
Trust Score Assigned – Your Trust Score reflects your long code (10DLC) messaging capacity and determines throughput to carriers like T-Mobile.
For the full registration process, see our A2P 10DLC Onboarding Guide.
How to Maximize Your Trust Score
1. Use a Valid EIN (U.S. Companies)
Your EIN must match your Legal Company Name exactly as shown on the IRS CP 575 confirmation notice.
Do not use DUNS numbers or DBAs (Doing Business As).
Nonprofits and political organizations must use an EIN that appears in official IRS directories.
If you lost your CP 575, request a 147c letter from the IRS.
2. Use a Valid Tax ID (Non-U.S. Companies)
Provide your country’s official business registration number or tax ID.
Ensure the Legal Company Name and Tax ID match exactly.
Examples:
Canada: 9-digit Business Number (BN)
Europe: VAT ID (verify via VIES)
Australia: ABN (verify via ABN Lookup)
New Zealand: NZBN
Hong Kong: CN number
Other Countries: Primary tax or corporation registration number
3. Match Your Business Address
Your official business address must match your registration records (street, city, state/province, zip/postal code, country).
Using a branch or alternate office address may result in rejection or a lower Trust Score.
4. Public Companies – Stock Exchange Verification
If your business is publicly listed, provide a valid stock ticker and supported exchange (e.g., NASDAQ, NYSE, ASX, TSX).
Common Mistakes to Avoid
Using a DBA, trade name, or your messaging provider’s name instead of your Legal Company Name.
Submitting a DUNS number (not accepted for U.S. A2P).
Using an SSN for registration (sole proprietors should follow Stackably's separate instructions).
Entering an incorrect or mismatched Tax ID.
Typos in your company name or address.
Other Factors That Affect Trust Score
These factors are assessed independently and cannot be changed by your submission:
Company Size – Based on employee count and revenue.
Years in Operation – Determined by your business registration date and domain age.
✅ Tip: Always double-check your Legal Company Name, Tax ID, and Business Address against official documents before submitting. Accuracy is the key to faster approval and higher Trust Scores.
